Boss Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Normal Overdrive - Hit all himes with light damage based on the number of buffs or debuffs placed on Barong. This attack hits for about 3000+ damage on Expert difficulty. Applies a debuff on all himes that disables healing received and stops ability cooldown (2T)
Raging Overdrive - Hits one hime with light damage based on the number of buffs or debuffs placed on Barong. This attack hits for about 8000+ damage on Expert difficulty. Removes 5 debuffs from Barong. Place an Affliction RST buff on Barong.
Rage Meter - 2T on Expert and Ragnarok
Tips and Hints[edit | edit source]
1. Do not use Modred's Vicissitudes of Fortune in this raid. Not only will this make your fight harder, it makes your allies take more damage from her Overdrives.
2. Unless the player intends to solo this challenge, it is recommended to do this in group with focus on damage oriented skillsets to bring down Barong as fast as possible. Prolonged engagements are dangerous and Barong's debuff removal makes controlled fights very difficult. Burst oriented teams are highly favored in this Event.
3. This Event revamped the rewards lowering the requirement for the SSR Weapon and Eidolon MLB. Additionally, the Event gives out over 3,000 Magic Jewels in rewards.
