Well, I can't wait until the new pic is up, but I guess I'll just have to be patient since I don't want to get swatted with a rolled-up newspaper for being too obnoxious, so...
If you don't mind my asking, how do you snag pics from the game? Do you use screen capture, a sprite-ripping program, or what? (Or is it a trade secret and you'd have to turn my guts into guitar strings if I found out? -_^)
Animated 2D sprites, like the chibi Kamihime in battle or Alyssa in the shop, are called puppets. Puppets are made through layering and connecting pieces together to form a 2D skeleton.
So any animated image is separated into parts, hence why I would need to put the pieces from Alyssa together before I can upload it (I now have a screenshot of her from the game so now I have figured where the hair pieces go, she'll be up soon).
The easiest way to get images through the game is when they load when using Chrome's inspection tools. You can use either they keyboard shortcut CTRL + I, or right click -> inspect. If you set it to Network -> Img , you can view whatever images load, if you wanted to collect the image for the seasonal login, you would need to set up inspection tools before you login to the game.
We use this process to get majority of the images from the game, lest wiki-made portraits (for kamihime and eidolons only) and the twitter banners at the top of the page of newer events, besides screenshots of the game itself.
